Four simple steps to perfect photos
Choose a folder of images to process. SnapFixPics scans for all supported image formats and prepares them for batch processing.
Smart detection analyzes each image for faces and people, then applies intelligent cropping and your chosen image adjustments automatically.
Review the results and make per-image adjustments using the manual crop editor. Override any auto-crop that needs a personal touch.
Save your processed images to the output folder. All photos are exported with your chosen settings, ready to use.
Answers to common questions
Face detection works best with clear, well-lit photos where faces are at least 50 pixels wide. Very small, blurry, or heavily obscured faces may not be detected. Try adjusting the crop settings or use the manual crop editor for those images.
HEIC and HEIF support requires macOS 12 (Monterey) or later. If you're on an older version of macOS, convert your files to JPEG or PNG first.
SnapFixPics never modifies your original files. All processed images are saved to a separate output folder, so your originals are always safe.
Use the export settings to choose your preferred output format. You can convert between any supported format (JPEG, PNG, HEIC, HEIF, BMP) during export.
Processing speed depends on image size and the number of photos. For very large batches (500+ images), consider processing in smaller groups. Closing other resource-intensive apps can also help.
SnapFixPics requires macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later for full feature support, including person and face detection.
